I played EVE way back in the day, and that pretty much concludes my list of space games MMO's. I've been playing WoW for a long time, been shooting tanks in WoT, wrecked my propeller a few more times then I like to admit in WarThunder.... Then there is the list of Singleplayer games.. Not going into that now Aside from gaming, I run a company that specializes in streaming services, and videography in general. Now, I'm kinda wondering about what role I should pick, and I guess it's come down to either Combat Ops, or Exploration.. See, I've thrown way to much money at the screen than I like to admit. and when having a large variety of ships available, I'ts hard to decide on a single role.. So yeh. Nevermore Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 Welcome @Bakudan_Kame In imperium you won't be forced to only explore if your join exploration division or squadron you can find a squadrons when the time comes that does a little bit of everything.. there are squadrons that hunt vanduul others secure borders and defend convoys we have FPS squadrons etc and a mix of everything I don't think anyone feels like doing the same thing over and over again and you can ask a officer when ever you want to change division so if you join you should be able to find a squadron that you like and fits your time zone best of luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also have to agree that it seems highly unlikely that anyone would spend every day doing the same thing over and over again, and if roles can be changed at a later time, I guess I would have to toss myself into the Combat Ops when I'm added as a member, as the majority of my ships are set for combat/stealth. I have this exact same dilemma (owning at least 1 of everything). I just chose what I thought I would enjoy most (combat) and just went from there.
